Yankuang Energy fully implements the New Development Philosophy, seek both external and internal improvement, and pay equal emphasis on industrial operation and capital operation, fostering five major industries of mining, high-end chemicals and new materials, new energy, high-end equipment manufacturing, and intelligent logistics, and building three major operating bases of Shandong, Shaanxi &Inner Mongolia and Australia. Mining: As a leading thermal coal enterprise in China,Yankuang Energy is the largest coal producer in East China,whose subsidiary Yancoal Australia is the largest pure coal player in Australia. By the end of 2021, the Company has in-situ resources (according to Jorc standard) of 14.6 billion tons, 23 coal mines in production and 1 under construction, with an annual production capacity of 160 million tons. It also owns 6 potash mining leases and proven high-quality potash(KCL) resources of 1.7 billion tons in Canada.
The Company's coal products mainly include thermal coal, PCI coal and coal for chemical raw materials, which are characterized by low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, high calorific value, high volatile and high ash fusion point). “Yankuang Coal” was awarded as "Recognized Famous Brand in China" and "the No.1 Brand in the Industry", and ranked 68th among the China’s Top500 Brands. Shandong base: It mainly operates 8 coal mines, namely Nantun, Xinglongzhuang, Baodian, Dongtan,Jining No.2, Jining No.3, Yangcun and Zhaolou, with an approved coalproduction capacity of 36.55 million tons per year.
Nantun Coal Mine: Located in Zoucheng City, Shandong Province, it was put into production in 1973 with an approvedannual production capacity of 2.7 million tons.

Zhuanlongwan Coal Mine: Located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it was put into production in 2016and has an approved annual production capacity of 10 million tons.
Wenyu Coal Mine: Located in Ejin Horo Banner/county, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, it was put into production in 2011 with an approved annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons.
Shanxi Tianchi Coal Mine: Located in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, it was built and put into production in 2006 with an approved annual capacity of 1.2 million tons.
Australia Base: It mainly operate 9 production coal mines including Moolarben, HVO, MTW and Yarrabee and 4 coal resources exploration projects, which are located in NSW, Queensland and Western Australia, with an annual production capacity totaled 79.3 million tons. Besides, it holds 30% equity of Port Waratah Coal Services, 27% equity of Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group, and 9.7% equity of Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd, among others.
