On October 27th, the award ceremony of Platts’s Top 250 Global Energy Companies of 2015 was held in Singapore. Being on the list of Platts’s Top 250 Global Energy Companies for six consecutive years, Yanzhou Coal Mining Company (Yanzhou Coal) ranked the 201st position among global energy companies this year, and 60th among Asian energy companies, 16th among Chinese energy companies, and 4th among Chinese coal companies.

Mr. Yin Mingde, General Manager of Yanzhou Coal Mining Co. Ltd., made himself one of the 8 finalists in the list of Asian CEO of 2015 after a series of selections, for his outstanding contribution in leading the company to hedge the negative impacts of the decline in energy prices successfully and maintaining a long-term stable development of the company.

Relevant person from Platts indicated that under the circumstance of slowing down in global demands of energy and continual decline in coal price currently, the fact that Yanzhou Coal‘s appearance in the list again firmly reflected its competitiveness among the listed energy companies worldwide and the leading position in the industry.
